My reading comprehension is fine. I pointed out that when comparing the two countries, the only reference you made to being slimy, crooked, and homophobic was for Ukraine. If, in fact, you meant to include Russia in that descriptive, then you need to work on your sentence structure.

They, by in large, favor Russia. That doesn't mean they hate Ukraine. The poster I replied to stated that they have a long standing hatred of Russia, which is far from accurate

Other than near Crimea, Ukraine is NOT a flat open plane but lots of ridges, hills, valleys, wooded areas, etc... even in the East.
There is insurgent activity in areas occupied since 2014. Those supposed "Russian lovers" are mighty pissed off at Russia's treatment of them, especially since the first of the year.

And Mexicans, by in large, favor Mexico. So according to your logic, Mexico annexing the southwestern border states would be the logical thing to do, since a large chunk of the population see themselves as Mexican, not American.
Some of you beating this drum are the same ones screaming bloody murder about border control and the Great Replacement. Putin is doing the same thing in eastern Ukraine, and you seem to see no issue with it and that the will of the people in Eastern Ukraine should be followed if they want to be part of Russia.
