Y'all, please remember that many parents rely on schools to feed their kids because they don't have the means. So when these schools close, these children LITERALLY starve. Y'all need to recognize that climate change simply magnifies your positions of privilege.

I remember that winter being particularly bleak for Baton Rouge. Nearly non-stop overcast and rain for several months.
