He's got a website, or a blog. And his idiot followers are dumb enough to "sponsor" it. I guess some pay in money (or maybe food stamps) and the rest pay with actual food.

Selling bootleg CDs and fake jerseys is not a business plan.

And what are the chances that new-hire reporting, L-4 and W-4, 940/941's are actually reported correctly to the state and federal government?
And don't even get me started on workers' compensation or general liability insurance ...

Hey GC, we're doing that already and y'all are still killing each other. Y'all can get in college easier, get federal grants easier, etc etc, but instead, y'all would rather sell dope and kill each other.
Truth hurts that fat fricker.

Gravy is just not very smart. This theory of his that murders are being committed because a lack of jobs is just ridiculous. According to indeed.com, there are 6690 job openings in Baton Rouge. Why can't the people that are committing murders apply for anyone of these open jobs? That's the reason they are committing murders, right? Lack of "economic opportunity"? Well, I see 6690 economic opportunities that could prevent murder.
What say you, Gravy?

My first thought as well.
He talked about equity then wanted to know why his business wasn't at the front of the line. One large measure of equity in this is number of employees (because the larger the workforce, the larger the potential effect on tax collection as well as quality of life).
All his words boiled down to were "gimme-gimme-gimme because racismz!!111"

With every word this man speaks, it divides BR further.

So his point is that the city isn't putting money on the hands of black businesses for road projects. Businesses owned by blacks and women get first crack at every govt contract. If there were black owned companies that could design, build, or provide the materials, they would be in the mix. I suppose he also assumes that the companies that have the contracts don't hire black people, right?
Once again, he speaks in these clownish platitudes and everyone thinks he's MLK.

I wish someone would've asked him how many black souls he employs with his proud black business.
