That place must've been a COVID factory.

I wanted to play so bad but wasn't tall enough. By the time I was, it was out of business.

Yes, I'm still bitter.

Had some buddies who worked the laser tag place

Inserting some Michael Bolton or explicit shite into the middle of their WinAmp playlists while they were distracted was always good for a laugh

I was friends with the owner and workers at a laser tag arena in my college town.

The best story I heard from them was how they had the sound in the arena hooked up to the PC in the back. One day, they clicked on an attachment sent to them which locked the sound on the highest level and blasted “HEY EVERYBODY, WE’RE WATCHING PORNO IN HERE!” throughout the maze.

Luckily for them, no customers were present at the time.

Good lord, that little .exe was from 20 years ago LOL. Never went to Laser Tag but did go to Photon around 1987/88 or so

Off topic but with the same "make you feel old" theme -

Kurt Loder turns 75 today

I looked him up on Wiki last year and was shocked at his age. As a Gen-x’r it definitely starts hitting you in the feels when all the pop culture icons you grew up with, are getting much older and dying off :(

Main Event has laser tag. I think this place mostly survived on field trips and summer camps. I guess a two month shutdown did them in.
