I’ve read the book, which is fantastic, but it’s still hard for me to imagine just how big they got before it all crashed.

I worked with a lot of Enron guys after my company bought them out during the crash. It is really depressing, but they guys pushed on.

That also shows why politics have changed so much as well. Many blue collar type manufacturing companies (more conservative) are being left in the dust for retail and tech (more liberal) and politics always follows the money.

And these liberal companies(goggle, Microsoft, etc.) are the ones driving the locals out of there very cities in California and New York. They jack up real estate and pay top salaries for their employees and little liberals cry it's Trump's fault
