Inspired by the student loan thread started earlier. May it be family, friends, coworkers, you name it.
I know someone with $120k and still has a year to go.
What you got?

From just undergrad? About 170k.
With a professional degree? I think about 300k.

I have heard of many in the 80's but not much more than that. Interest rate of 6% paying $600/month for forever.

Do we know each other?
Never mind OT ballers don’t need student loans. Carry on.

My, no count, ex sister in law has over $100k for a teaching degree. She'll never pay it off.

That's rookie numbers in this racket.
Know plenty of people with tree fiddy and even some upwards of 600k.

Teachers can have their loans forgiven in a couple of different ways.

When my friend was in his 3rd year of med school said he went over 6 figures. Would guess he's around 135k or so.
He had an academic scholarship that covered tuition and fees for undergrad too. He only had to pay for living expenses, books and food in undergrad.

USC dental school is over $110K a year! There are plenty of people out there with $400K plus in student loan debt

If she taught for 10 years and it was all federal I think that gets forgiven.

I had student debt that was closing in on 400K after i got my PHD.
I climbed out of it pretty quick once i was finished the schooling and landed the right job.
