How is CenturyLink so big? I've never heard of them until this thread popped up previously and don't know anyone that uses them. No where ive lived even had them as an option.

Business level internet service provider, they don't deal with residential stuff. They won't run service to your house, but they'll run it to your 50 story office building.

They are a big player in telecom.

Not true. They have a ton of residential services in the north/northwest.

Then I stand corrected. I only know of them in the business space, as I've never lived in the North or Northwest.

They are national in their business services, not regional.
