I agree. Love my expedition! Really love the keypad feature too which I don’t believe you can get on other ones. I never have to worry about locking my keys and the kids in the car.

Better than paying sticker though

I love that all of my posts in this thread are objectively factual (except for the first one, which was just my opinion on wheelbase) and getting blasted with downvotes. The OT is so clueless in vehicle threads

Had both (still have the GX) and liked both for different reasons. 4Runner actually had better leather and better looking exterior. Also liked infotainment/display layout of the 4Runner better. Like the V8 and 4WD of the GX. I actually like the swing rear gate.

My wife has a late model 4Runner and the back seats are actually smaller than my GX460. Also the Luxury package has better seats on the GX460. I am getting the CBI bumper soon and will install it which will make the front look less like a soccer mom vehicle. I have the 3rd row seats but have never used them.

Wife had a Lexus LX470. She just got a Armada SL. It’s really nice and roomy. It has a towing capacity of 8500 lbs. Drives great but not very good on gas mileage.

We have a Yukon XL and it's my favorite vehicle I've ever owned. 3 kids and all family lives out of town, so it's perfect. Plus my wife looks like a classy AF suburb mom behind the wheel.

Not a large SUV, but we just bought an Atlas and really like some of the features it offers- middle row (bench or Captain chairs) are adjustable to provide more leg room and there’s a ton of cargo space behind the 2nd row. The third row is comfortable for an adult on a short trips around town. Got a top of the line 2018 (SEL Premium) for just over $30k.

Just bought a 21 denali and dam do i love it. Yeah you will pay more than you want because like other people of said there are no discounts. I take pride in negotiating things down and I literally exhausted every dealership on the gulf coast. I tried to cut the best deal I could and pretty much everyone was about the same, i saved maybe a few grand off msrp. There was only one black on black that I could find within 700 miles. It’s a combination of Covid shutting down their plant for three months backing up supply and them just being able to sell everything they have.

I have a GLS 450 and I'm loving it. Only feature I wish I had was the Super Cruise available in the Escalade. Otherwise, it's got every bell and whistle.

The GX460 is a great vehicle. If you could swing an older LX570/Land Cruiser, they will run forever and give you more size.

Personally, I'm driving an 18 year old LX470 that you can't kill.

It can give a max of over 10” of clearance - more than the 4Runner or Land Cruiser.

The LX570 has the bags.

LX570 has hydraulic control accumulator globes...not bags. MY 470 is nearly 20 years old and still running the AHC system with no issues. So, there's that.

Big enough to pack up a family of 4 that includes two toddlers for an out of state trip? I have a 4Runner but it gets really cramped packing it full of shite for a roadtrip. The wife needs something bigger but not sure if she needs make the jump all the way to Tahoe/Expedition range.

Yukon XL Denali

Maybe the best looking SUV out there right now.

But they are really expensive. I remember when they came out with the first Denali about 20 years ago. The regular Yukon was about $36,000. The Denali version was about $45,000.
