That doesn't sound right.

Isn't Anchorage on Tatooine?

What was the magnitude of the big Easter earthquake? 1964, maybe?

I remember seeing photos in the Alaska State Museum of one side of one of the main streets in Anchorage being like 15' lower than the opposite side of the street. Crazy!

My wife’s friend works at UAA and her building has heavy damage.

She posted a video on Facebook. I’ll try to post it.

*her Facebook is private. She starts recording right after it ends and all the power is out and the ceiling is coming down. Pipes are busted in the walls and water is rapidly flowing and flooding several floors. Then the aftershocks came and that shite was wild.

Hope there are no major injuries or deaths, but it def seems like their could be serious damage to structures.

I flew over Anchorage yesterday Roger. I did not notice a pre- ripple in the cosmic fabric or I would have warned you. There was however, a weird vibe over Irkutsk.

In related news you must really have cheap flights to Asia.

9.2. The destruction was incredible but few people in Ak died.

It wiped out Valdez, the town had to be relocated 4 miles away. You can still see damage in the Anchorage area from that quake.

Ever been to the Bird House (it's between Valdez and Anchorage)? It's a bar and 1 half of the floor is a foot and a half higher than the rest.

I would rather be hated for who I am than loved for who I am not.

In other words: bugger off.
