As a cop, how do you justify this? Because he can't get his pants up? You see this guy and you're like "hell yeah I'll shoot this guy in the face" and everyone is okay with that enough to where he's not fired? This is just one example of many.

To officers out there that are good: You want people to respect you and pay you more? The first step is kicking people like this off the force after their first screw up. Don't make excuses for your fellow officers that you wouldn't make for civilians. Some people are always going to hate you no matter what, but many of us see shite like this and feel like you should do better.

Put more effort into your work than this.

Shot this girl in the head while walking down the street with groceries. Man what badasses!

edit: I removed the pic with the child on the shoulders. It is not conclusive enough and could easily be BS.

In that second photo he’s obviously pointing to the right of the kid. Nice try though

You can’t tell shite by looking at still frames.

Seems pretty obvious that the second picture is not the cop pointing the weapon at the guy and girl. The guy and girl are clearly closer to the camera than the officer and his sight line is focused on something farther away.

I agree, if we just live in a military state where we just do exactly what the government says we won't have to worry about stuff like this.

Obviously the guy in the first picture is a benefactor of white privilege.

You're super nuanced when it comes to police violence. I get it, you are used to being lied to by the media. Keep ignoring the obvious reality and you open it up to being completely run by the Gravy Chambers of the world. Have some fricking pride in your work. Have some standards.

Where I work you will get fired if you have shitty results. You frick one project up and you're gone. If the police were like that and cleaned house on a regular basis, then the remaining good officers could get public support for massive pay raises.

I provided photos. You need Vox, CNN, or somebody to tell you what to think about them? I mean, that can easily be done..

It’s a shite show.

The police in certain places are overzealous and over militarized.

Then you have rioters and looters coming in and giving JUST the type of behaviour that is used to justify this sort of action and armament.

You have people who are against the militarization of police seeing rioters attack and kill innocent people, destroy businesses and neighborhoods, and some people make it to if you don’t support these vile actions you are on the side of the cops.

Then you have overzealous cops employing unnecessary force against certain vulnerable people and you can’t support that either.

Dammit the whole system is fricked and the ones stuck in the middle are the ones who get screwed the most

So if you don't exercise your rights, you have nothing to worry about?

When are you turning in your firearms?

If you bring your child to a hostile environment like that, you deserve to catch a rubber bullet to the dome.

At your work are you constantly dealing with scum of the earth criminals that would kill you in a heartbeat given the opportunity??? Do you have to worry about whether or not the guy is reaching for his wallet or a Glock??? Go frick yourself, pussy
