Land Rover Discovery -- acceptable car for a guy?

I prefer a smaller SUV, and want something to replace my shitty MDX.
I'm just conscious of the fact that sometimes decent cars become overly identified with females (X3, Q5, every Lexus SUV ever made, etc).
