Welp, 3 rooms just became available at the InterContinental for tonight
Hopefully others thinking about committing violent crimes will take the stress off by using the Fitness center.
or by relaxing by the pool
and just sleeping better.
We're most likely paying for their in Room Porn on FEMA

That NOLA spirit just gets a hold on you and doesn't let go.

Yea this was a few blocks from us but I feel pretty safe due to the police presence they have at the evacuee hotels. Our hotel refused to take any of them and has added security measures. We just don't wander around at night and most of them don't come out during the day.
Moving locations Friday, though.

All of them are here or Baton Rouge. One Houston hotel kicked them all out a few days ago because like termites they were destroying the place.

Probably worse, we are paying for their hotel room and their care at the hospital.
It would be unfair to kick them out and all

Only fair that we get to blame the Laura refugees for all the crime in Nola for the next decade.
