The oil and gas market isn't in the toilet anymore. It's not like it was but it has picked up big time .

Yes, I think only two stores remain open and they are hanging on by a thread.

Yeah you mean the city that is in the crapper since the oil field went bust about 3 years ago that had 30% of all restaurants and small businesses fail because of the downturn? that city is next in line to be a powerhouse let me....

Unfortunately for Lafayette they are setup to service the offshore market and it is still in the early stages of recovery.
