I can think of several towns in Louisiana more conservative then lafayette .
Plenty of liberals in lafayette .
Go up to north Louisiana
Way more conservative in some of those places

Boycotts, even if you disagree with them, are inherently noble since it is you making a moral stance for yourself and sacrificing something.
Cancelings, even if you agree with the reasoning, are inherently authoritarian since it is denying something to other people who wish to partake.

So do I. My Grandfather used to talk about drinking in a place called the beer garden in Baton Rouge in the 1940's an 50's. New Orleans with all of its bars is bound to have had a version of that as well.

Yeah it's not hard to understand this concept, even for LowTboy.
Boycott means I'll spend my money elsewhere to impact the company's bottom line. Cancel means I'm going to try and destroy the company so that it dies.

I've been to this establishment plenty of times and even spoken with this guy a few times. It's actually a really cool place and great concept
This is disappointing that he's dumb enough to interject his shitty politics into his business and potentially alienate a large part of his potential customer base
This reminds me of the time that French Press in downtown Lafayette posted some similar anti trump political BS on their page. It didn't go well for them
