You are arguing semantics here so we'll agree to disagree.
Translation, hospitals weren't overrun and I cannot actually answer your questions. I will instead continue to fear monger.

ere is a virus causing people to get sick and go to the hospital. There is a vaccination for that virus that would prevent most of those people from getting it. If they fail to get it, then they shouldn't expect to receive treatment over others since they could have prevented it

So much so that a CDC official stated that upwards of 60% of the spike were in the vaccinated.
Thought this was said about stats in England

I guess I put too much faith in someone with the username TaderSalad

And it was also wrong, it was roughly 40% in England with at least partial vaccination, so it wasn't even all fully vaccinated, AND England has a significantly higher vaccination rate among adults than Louisiana does.

This state is full of absolute morons. See: this entire website.

Provide any evidence whatsoever that in the state of Louisiana, half of current cases or hospitalizations are from vaccinated people.
WBRZ

According to the LDH, across the state there have been 2,175 vaccine breakthrough cases. That is .1% of the fully vaccinated population, of that 125 hospitalized where 28 died. Stephen Mumford at Baton Rouge General says, for the rest of the breakthrough cases, they experience minor symptoms.

WBRZ reached out to LDH for a breakdown of the vaccines taken in those cases. They said they do track it but declined to release that information.

It was, and the 60% was unvaccinated, not vaccinated.
LINK
88% of England has had at least one shot. So that means 12% of the population makes up 60% of the hospitalizations.
I can think of another stat along those lines that the PT would lose their minds over, but for some reason this one is a hoax

So not even remotely half of all new cases.

If only blacks would get vaccinated we could have herd immunity.
Posted on 7/21/21 at 12:52 pm to Fun Bunch
I don’t believe that number at all.

And that 40% included those with only 1 shot.
We do not know how many were of fully vaccinated people.

I have a child that is a medical professional, NP. The hospitals are recording patients that have been vaccinated and are having adverse side effects as a covid case.

But when you cant get surgeries because entire wings are full of covid patients I consider that overrun. And that happened in a lot of places the first time around.
Pretty sure that was due to saving PPE & not knowing how bad it would get
The fact that treatment was withheld while nurses were being laid off is criminal

The 98% of the hospitalizations being unvaccinated seems questionable to me. I personally know multiple vaccinated people currently struggling with Covid. I’m sure it’s higher in unvaccinated but seems that the vaccinated are NOT totally clear especially if they have health issues.

Do we need to reopen the NOLA convention center emergency hospital?

This mostly though outpatient cases that were definitely going to take up an icu bed for a couple days after was also an issue
