Watch for full legalization to be on the table in next year’s session.

They just passed it at the last minute. I really hate them.

No doubt with Bollinger on board.

The last bill of the session? They were going to ram it through, or slip it through, or twist arms, or wait till everyone was read it to go home.
What ever it took, “small government” lawmakers were going to get this passed.
No one had hemp on the radar of pressing issues for this state, but it turned into the biggest issue of this legislative session. Sad priorities for the “leaders” of this state.

Can someone tell Sen. Thomas Pressly that we all know that it has zero to do with kids, so he can shut the frick up and go frick himself?

Limit a new business by restricting them from selling a product established places can? Good job Louisiana, always thinking behind.

The stupidity of the elected never ceases to amaze me. It seems to me they are mouthpieces for their backers. Period.

Yea lmao arguably the most asinine part of this.
If you happened to be in business and selling a legal product at this time, you’re good; but if you weren’t, too bad, you can’t sell a legal product that others in your same industry can.
Feels like there should be a constitutional challenge in there somewhere.

The new one you vote in will be more of the same.
Get rich and join the party is the only way you’ll have any influence

Just curious
Why do people support the sale of this stuff?

I’m not looking it up, but if Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi don’t sell these products. It’s like a slap in the face to potential out of state entrepreneurs from coming here.
It’s so dumb.

There will be no kids that 20 years from now say "Thank goodness they outlawed hemp at gas stations and new restaurants or I'd have turned out horribly."
