Are we thinking there is a University of Wisconsin-Kenosha football game tomorrow, that these jurors have good tickets, and a tailgate spot, for?

After they get their last free lunch, the jurors will probably have a verdict or inform the judge they are deadlocked.

They aren't sequestered... they can go to the game and still be back in "deliberation" on Monday.

Is this the longest jury deliberation in the history of jury deliberations?

i know this is a play on the longest thread joke but from what I found the longest jury deliberation in the US was 55 days:

quote:

One of the longest jury deliberations in history took place in 2003 and lasted for 55 days. Jurors in Oakland, California faced the task of determining the fate of three police officers accused of assaulting and falsely arresting residents.

They were acquitted, for the record

Jesus - can you imagine arguing over the same things for 55 days - sounds a bit like marriage.

That's a long arse deliberation... I guess the longest sequestered had to be OJ trial, right? Weren't they sequestered for the whole thing?
