Wasn't the guitar he used in unplugged a right handed guitar that he played upside down? I seem to recall a guitar playing buddy of mine pointing that out when we watched the first airing.

Kurt was one of the great lyricist, guitarist and song writers in the history of the world
One of if not the best melody writers ever
He had an amazing ability to make very complex melodies seem so simple with the use of line cliches like in heart shaped box
Here’s a video if anybody is interested in learning more about nirvana and Kurt’s genius musicality
