Waaay back in the mid-90's this almost happened to me. Seriously long-term dated a girl with my same last name and oddly she had a brother with my same first name. Kind of miss her laugh every now and then...

The names have been changed to protect the innocent.
For example, George Baker is own Sylvia Wyss.

Do you even south louisiana? Every person is either a Hebert, Landry, Broussard, LeBlanc, Guidry or Fontenot.

Or a Bordelon or a Gremillion. I think my sister had an elementary school teacher who was a double Gremillion.
We bought our house from a Terry and a Terri. That probably leads to some really interesting mail switch-ups. shite, if I were in that boat, I would probably tell my wife just to keep her maiden name.

Yes. Honestly assumed it was just a brother/cousin I hadn't met when she posted pics on social media and tagged him. Had to do a little investigating when I saw a kiss that was definitely not family friendly.

The question was "what's the logic in not letting two male cousins get married?"

Yep a friend of mine's 2nd marriage ended in a double maiden/married name.

Yes! Watts and Watts. I thought she should have hyphenated her name, but that's just me.
