Well then I stand corrected on the governors comments. If they are not SC residents then yes she has every reason to say they are not welcome.

I'm surprised they have to import them there are plenty of toothless Klan here already. Shows how useless then Klan has become they can't even get motivated to start a rally down the road from their own trailer park!

Cue a bunch of racist inbred turds who'll support the flag and tread carefully around declaring their secret solidarity with the Klan. Oh wait, this already happened.

I can see why she'd be upset over citizens from another state coming to stir shite up in hers

Oh but the activist from new York who climbed the pole to take it down is okay? Really?

Why do I get the feeling that come the next elections in South Carolina for state legislatures and governor are going to dissappoint a lot of the incumbents.

It's pathetic. People like to conjure up the KKK bogeyman like it's some sort of veritable threat. They want you to think of the rallies of the early 1900s (which were curiously the largest in Yankeeville.)

Nowadays it's a few toothless inbreds in a trailer out in the woods of Bumblescum, Alasippida, fricking their sister. Would anyone really be afraid of a group with 12 collective teeth?

Well, I think it's just very recognizable imagery. The uniform and flaming crosses and whatnot are all very striking images. They were meant to be associated with terror, and they were and are.

Is the Klan any sort of threat these days? No, of course not. They're as impotent as Rock Hudson at a Burlesque show. I don't think it's pathetic to feel uncomfortable in their presence.

I mean, how would you feel if there was a group out there that wanted all limerick writing nerds to go back to Ireland?

I'm willing to bet you that more than 75% of the Fergurson protestors have the same amount of hate for white people as these so called Klan members have for Blacks. The Klan is dead. All they have now if some dudes stuck in the 60s wearing sheets

As far as you saying that the "governor is within in his rights to say they are not welcome". He can denounce the all he wants but can not stop them from coming. Once again. No one tried to stop the Fergurson protestors from showing up. Baltimore??? Nope. This is the same thing. Only difference one is claiming to be part of a symbolic hate group.

Who gives a shite. Let them do what ever they want. I'll be working

Some ignorant shite trying to start trouble. Be sure and read my comments and a lesson below, monsterbrat.

I would say nice try but it doesn't even qualify for "nice". Whoever made that shite up should have their arse kicked for race baiting.

Try this for a starter history lesson.
quote:

First national flag: "The Stars and Bars" (1861–1863)
A Confederate "Stars and Bars" flag, captured by soldiers of the Union Army at Columbia, South Carolina. Three versions of the flag of the Confederate States of America and the Confederate Battle Flag are shown on this printed poster from 1896. The "Stars and Bars" can be seen in the upper left. Standing at the center are Stonewall Jackson, P. G. T. Beauregard, and Robert E. Lee, surrounded by bust portraits of Jefferson Davis, Alexander Stephens, and various Confederate army officers, such as James Longstreet and A. P. Hill. The first official national flag of the Confederacy, often called the "Stars and Bars", was flown from March 4, 1861 to May 1, 1863. It was designed by German/Prussian artist Nicola Marschall in Marion, Alabama and resembles the flag of the Austrian Empire (later Austria-Hungary, now the Republic of Austria), with which Marschall would have been familiar.[12][13] The "Stars and Bars" flag was adopted March 4, 1861, in the first temporary national capital of Montgomery, Alabama, and raised over the dome of that first Confederate capitol. Marschall also designed the Confederate army uniform.[13]
