That same night, there was a long delay before Endymion entered the Superdome due to an accident. Kid Rock and his crew were obviously near the front of the parade lineup. Instead of going inside the Superdome, Kid Rock started performing for the high school bands who had been standing outside waiting, despite protests from his manager advising him not to play. Kid's float was surrounded by high school kids listening to him play music. One of the bands was St. Aug and I think the other was Brother Martin or Jesuit. I have been a Kid Rock fan since then. I just thought it was a great thing for him to do. He made those kids' night.

He also does a ton for wounded vets that goes un reported. He is widely known to cover rehab and medical expenses for vets returning home to detroit.

You mean you didn't like this week's MNF promo?

Only had to hear it about 100 times last week.

Kid Rock is really good about doing things for veterans too.

And he likes to do things for veterans.

I agree Kid was awesome at Endymion and I've seen other things on TV where he does cool stuff for fans. He plays up the White Trash persono well, but actually comes from a well adjusted family.

He got wasted alone at a strip club in Nashville and bought everyone in the place a lap dance and walked out. My former boss was there and said about 30 people at $60 a piece just because. I want to be rich so badly.

Some what of a hijack but him paying $60 for lap dances for 30 guys is only $1,800 and not really note worthy on the OT. Just sayin'.

Not sure exactly what you mean by "that guy"? Am I "that guy" for being able to do simple math, or am I "that guy" for pointing out that $1,800 really is not that much in the big scheme of things, even if your not Kid Rock.

I've heard lots of stories of people that have met him, and literally every one of them is positive. Pretty rare for a celebrity.

Fun Fact: Before he was famous he was stopped walking down the street in LA by Jay Leno for his Jaywalking segment on the tonight show.

$1,800 to me is a lot to just give away. Now your retort will be "not to kid rock". Well, I think you'd be surprised by the way most rich people act then. Typically they don't give away jack shite unless their accountant told them to.

I heard he baw'd out of control at Endymion. Heard he was a really cool dude and just hung out with a bunch of people. Don't know if true as I didn't attend that year. But I can dig the street cred.

Nah, just kidding. Yes bro we all saw your 4 Endymion posts. You really want us to know you were there and he was cool. So here is your acknowledgement.

I could have embellished, but I didn't. Still thought it was a cool story. Most people aren't giving away $1,800 to total strangers as you walk out the door just for fun.

I thought it was a cool story, so frick you

ETA:

Must have been cash too. Carrying that much cash is ridiculous I don't care who you are
