It’s very shitty for about 5-10 mins then it subsides in the mouth. After about 30 mins the stomach nausea was unbelievable to the point of nearly vomiting but chugged a glass of milk and felt fine after that. Definitely one of the spiciest, if not the spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten. The only other things in the same ballpark were some spicy peanuts coated in the same type of dust, and a bite out of a ghost pepper.

I think everyone should try it, it does suck but it’s a good challenge.

Joaquin Diaz, a 31-year-old construction worker from the Bronx, in New York, said he tried the chip a few weeks ago after coming across social media videos about the challenge. He said he loves spicy food and wanted to see how he’d stack up.

quote:

Diaz told The Associated Press by phone Friday that the chip was very hot, but he didn’t expect the stomach cramps and diarrhea that followed and led to him missing work the next day. “It hurt, I’m not gonna lie. I was actually a little nervous,” he said. Despite the stomach issues, Diaz said he had planned to try the chip again with some friends. But he decided not to after he heard about Wolobah’s death.

Very sad indeed, but of course the blame is being pushed on the product and not the person who decided to act irresponsibly.

How did he behave irresponsibly? The chip is meant for eating and he ate it.

I did that challenge. The chip was hot, but it wasn’t that serious. It tasted terrible

The heat didn't really affect me in the traditional way. I went deaf for like 3 mins for some reason though. The taste is disgusting.

We did it at work a while back. Nobody seemed to think it was extreme so only like 1-2 tap outs. 4 people called in sick the next day. Apparently it has a delayed reaction of a few hours. Doesn’t seem very safe. Not sure what chemicals are in it, but government should ban.

This happened in the Lafayette area last week. The kid didn't die, but he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

Rob Kearney taking his American log record broke him for a bit. "Oh, I can go get that back any time I want." never amounted to much.

Of course, it is a chip, not spray paint.

But clear labeling that it’s not meant for children. Shouldn’t be available for purchase to children then.
