Just wait until you're on I-10 and set the cruise. Blacks with bonnets will appear out of nowhere and start snatching weaves while yelling On My Mama

How's the cruise control on your Carnival?

I know, I know. It was funny to me though.

my biggest complaint is the "smart key" stuff. Can't crank it unless the key is literally in the car. It's usually in my wife's purse so while she's putting the kids in it won't crank.

The factory remote start sequence requires you to press the lock button on the smart key before pressing and holding the remote start/hold button. If the doors are unlocked, the remote start command will not trigger.

How many times have you clicked the auto start without clicking lock first? And how many times have you tried to auto start the car with the doors wide open and unlocked?

the climate control and audio shares one knob and requires toggling two buttons to switch between climate and audio.

Leave that button toggled to CLIMATE and use the thumb wheel/buttons on the right side of the steering wheel for AUDIO.

Also, you can start closing all the doors and start walking away as they close. Hit the LOCK button from a distance.

One thing that drove me nuts until we called the dealer was the stupid LANE ASSIST being on all the time. You have to go into the menu and find the SAFETY tab. You can turn it off there. Once I got that turned off, driving our KIA is a nice experience.

We just bought a Hybrid Sportage and love it. I was recently on the interstate and running solely on battery for long stretches.
