A lot of grandfather's and great-grandfathers would violently disagree with that statement.

Yeah even Chinese isn’t thought of as Asian it gets called Chinese. Chinese means like cheap and dirty whereas when something is Asian that means healthy and fresh

It’s supposed to be but just because a label says it’s halal doesn’t mean it is
But considering he price of lamb that’s been raised in Australia/New Zealand I’d say there’s a good chance it’s humanely raised and slaughtered, you’d be able to taste the difference

Hold up. Your graphic vs your belief. You think those breakdowns of each ethnic group, in Surrey, equate to 80% Muslim??

I heart goes out to Canadians and other Western nations people having foreigners come to their land and taking over. I could never imagine watching my culture and heritage being erased like this. Soon we're going to find ourselves crammed onto designated land and treated like second class citizens.

Most Kosher is more strictly controlled than most Halal requirements. I understand a common practice among Muslims is to use Kosher when they can't get Halal dietary items.
Next question is how upset would folks get if KFC announced they were going Kosher. One of my favorite Restaurants in Chicago is kosher. When you check into your room at the Hyatt Regency the TV broadcasts a short documentary on the Kosher Restaurant in the Hotel, including a Rabbi tagging their walk-in cooler, after his daily? inspection. At one time, The company I worked for had a big Jewish customer. I was in Chicago with him many times and we always ate at that restaurant. Very good food.

Wal-Mart in Fargo ND has checkout lanes that prohibit pork products on them.

To be marked Halal, no Pork can be processed in the same cooking pots or pans, but also no processing of the lamb in a processor that also processes pork.
Animal slaughter and all cooking must be segregated. If Kosher marked, also periodically inspected and tagged by a Rabbi who does certification inspection. Orthodox Kosher folks are sticklers for compliance. I had a kosher Rabbi inspector from the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations "Circle K" mark who cam to the plant where I worked. The first time he and I met, I invited him to lunch, my treat. He looked at me like I was Satan himself and said, "I carry my own food when I am on the road." I apologized profusely and we were fine after that, but he never dined with me.
In my opinion, those KFC restaurants must be inspected by a certified Halal inspector. IN that respect, it is also a money making service by some Hahal inspection agency/service.
A funny fact. In NYC, Rabbi Schwartz would tell you not to accept Rabbi Klaus's inspections three blocks away because Rabbi Klaus did not do the inspections properly. Rabbi Klaus would tell you the same about Rabbi Schwartz. Why? Different congregations, neither of which trusts the other. In NYC, every congregation has their own rules for kosher. Even if they are they same, they don't trust the other congregation.

When I glanced at the headline I read KFC as KofC as Knights of Columbus, which made even less sense.

I said that I was mistaken on their ethnicity. Still 80% non white (probably 90%) many were FOBs. They were not African Muslim but Indian / Pakistan. Couldn't tell that from where I saw them from.
