The crime happened around 2:10 a.m. Monday at the Shell gas station at 3501 Williams Boulevard, Kenner police said. The two black men entered the store and looked around as if they were going to buy something, police said. The robber, who was black and wearing a white, knit hat and a black face mask, then approached the store clerk who was behind the counter. The robber, who was black, pulled out a handgun and demanded money, police said.
FIFY..

Kenner Police Chief Michael Glaser said Monday. “He did whatever they told him to do. There’s no way to explain why the clerk was shot. It just makes no sense.”
bullshite... it makes perfect sense. They’re murderers and wanted to kill someone, which is why you cannot make a distinction on the intentions of criminals.
What does NOT make sense are the people who think disarming the American people is going to prevent anything but people defending themselves from these people.

Three people have since pleaded guilty to roles in Friloux’s killing, and one — a former employee at the restaurant — was deemed mentally incompetent to stand trial last year. Glaser said it was impossible not to draw parallels between Sylla and Friloux’s cases but cautioned that investigators did not yet know the full story behind Monday’s deadly robbery.
FULL STORY...
Louisiana is a dangerous place with very dangerous human beings and you don’t know who they are, so short of abandoning the place entirely, you arm citizens, put the garbage in jail, keep them there, and bring employment and wealth to this state so that you eliminate the filth and make them leave for Mississippi or wherever, but they can’t stay here.

I'd bet it was <$100 at 2am

There’s a much more important bargain here than this.

It's even better when the bars clink shut at Angola and they're confined to a cell and they think they're in a glorified summer camp and they'll be going home in a few months.
They're told they're in prison for the rest of their life and they will never ever see anything beyond the farmland they're currently on again and they're like, "Nah, that's not me dawg. I'll be outta here soon, aight?"

The victim was likely Middle Eastern
There was a very well liked, popular, Middle Eastern shopkeeper murdered in Baton Rouge last week. At least his murderer didn't make it out of the store alive.

Update from his wife
quote:
DeVona Tibbet wept Monday afternoon as she tried to understand the violence that had claimed her husband and shattered her world.
But understanding would not come.
She knew that Abd El Ghader Sylla — the man she had loved from the moment she met him four years earlier — had immediately handed over the cash from the register that the robbers demanded at gunpoint while he worked behind the counter of a Kenner gasoline station and convenience store earlier that morning. After all, Tibbett, their 1-year-old daughter, and the child the couple is expecting in February were all waiting for him at home.
quote:
Sylla moved to the United States from the western African nation of Mauritania about a decade ago, spending some time in Washington, D.C., before coming to the New Orleans area, said Tibbet.
He made friends with everyone. And his kind eyes and warm smile won Tibbet over the first time she saw him working at another local gasoline station in 2016, she said.
They struck up a conversation and began speaking daily, she said. They got married and started a family.

I hate reading this.
His killer should get the death penalty and be buried in the Angola cemetery in a pine box.
If you're capable of doing something so evil like this for no reason at all, you have absolutely no value at all to society and don't belong in the free world.

They don’t value anyone’s life, including their own. They truly live in the moment and are really brainwashed that their life has no value, and it’s a “dog eat dog world”. Sad, but true. That’s culture.

IF -
They catch him, prove it, and then prove it again to the jury a second time.
In 20 to 25 years.
Maybe.

The fact that this a-hole was mentally incompetent is a joke. That shouldn't even be a thing. If you murder someone, being a complete RETARD shouldn't be a determining factor on you facing justice. In fact, it should be a fast lane to the chair. or the needle.
BTW, This is that retard. I hope his family is proud of the 10 IQ piece of shite they birthed and raised.

No reason to harm someone who was complying with their requests. They should get the death penalty and be executed shortly thereafter.

As should always be the case. It's cheaper that way. It's the one thing China does right.
