People are divided, more news at 10.
This is a microcosm of the world right now and it is really bananas.
I know not many people here do, but I frequent websites that have liberal slants as well, and it's like I'm living in two different worlds at one time.
The craziest thing is that Republicans are convinced that Liberals are quietly accepting defeat. Liberals are convinced that Republicans are regretful. It's so crazy.

There is literally 0.0% chance millions of people didn't watch the game but tuned in for that performance

if the SB viewership was the highest of all time it stands to reason that the half time show would be as well, it's not like everyone turns their tv off at halftime, doesn't mean they're watching, and certainly not enjoying, the halftime "show"

No fricking way that many people sat through all of that

But that doesn't explain how the superbowl had 127 million viewers but halftime had 133 million. That doesn't make any logical sense.

no, it does not, inclined to not believe that at all, or it is disingenuously skewed

From the other ratings thread
Didn't exist 10 years ago, Jackson halftime was 30+ years ago.

Fake News....Nielsen changed the way they calculate ratings.
"The Super Bowl always becomes the most-watched TV event of the year, by far. This year’s could end up being the most-watcher Super Bowl ever.
Even with possible Chiefs fatigue and a rematch of the game played only two years ago.
As noted by Drew Lerner of AwfulAnnouncing.com, the kicker comes from changes Nielsen recently has made when it comes to measuring out-of-home viewing.
Last month, Brian Steinberg of Variety.com explained that Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel national audience measurement technology has become an official tool for measuring the total audience.
“The accreditation of Nielsen’s Big Data + Panel is a landmark moment for TV ratings, as it will forever change audience measurement,” Nielsen CEO Karthik Rao, said at the time in a statement. “No one else pairs a high quality, representative panel with a data set this large, pulling from smart TVs and set top boxes in more than 45 million homes. I believe Big Data + Panel gives the industry the most accurate measurement in the history of TV. We’re grateful to our clients for helping us innovate once again.”

This alone tells us nothing. All it could mean is more people than ever were disappointed in such a shitty, flat boring super bowl show. You need some better stats to show if it was well liked.

Most enjoyed ? Definitely NOT !!!!
I don't know what you're talking about.
Some of us loved the level of petty Kendrick stooped to and realized we are not being big enough haters in this world!
I've watched it several times and will continue to, and I will laugh at Drake each and every time.

I don't think the network’s and advertisers really care if it was liked or not.

. So over 6 million additional people turned on the TV at Halftime?
wouldn't surprise me
been to enough super bowl parties to know there is a large portion that only care about half time

Going wild over high school drama shite. Like, why is him talking shite in a song that big of a deal?

So, they want me to believe that people weren't watching the game, but turned it on at half time to just watch the halftime show?
How do you know its halftime if you aren't watching?
Well did you watch the game or only tuned in at half time?

My son knew the words to a few of them. He's 9 and said they listen to the clean versions of Kendrick Lamar songs in PE class sometimes. I'd heard one of the songs but it sucks. That's all I got for Facebook today other than than stating I dont think any singer will ever top Prince's halftime performance for me.
