She should have taken it to the casino and either doubled up or lost it. If she wins it’s a hell of a day. If she loses, she was gonna steal it anyway.

She looks Canadian. She should have transferred it there, then moved on up, and blended in.

I know I'm not the only one absolutely floored this person owns a brokerage account.
Especially since, according to Google, JPSO dispatchers make $29,000 a year...

shite, just charge Schwab a 1.5% transaction fee for transferring the money out of the account.

Use the 1.2 to fight the case while you enjoy your time spending it while being out of the country.

On Feb. 23, Schwab meant to transfer $82.56 into a Fidelity Brokerage Services account also owned by Spadoni. But the company, instead, transferred $1,205,619, court records said. Staffers with the company immediately tried to stop or reclaim the transfer, but couldn't.
I mean, what do you expect?
I bet she wouldn’t give back an extra $10 in her change either.
She should have got it out and went on the road. Make them come and get it. Gonna charge you anyway, for their mistake.

if you're going to steal it:
Step 1 - Get in your car and start driving to the airport
Step 2 - Transfer money

I don't think I've ever seen this phrasing before regarding stealing or hiding something
Well, it’s a funny word, because not only is it the past tense of “secrete”, meaning to ooze,
It’s also the past tense of the verb form of secret. Meaning furtively remove something. Homonyms.
So you could write, “the packaging on the package secreted the secreted ooze.”

Now that’s the look of someone who makes sound financial decisions
It’s always people that look like this who are charged with monetary instrument abuse, felonious charges.

She wouldn't have been charged with anything if she didn't transfer the money to a different account.

they always think nobody is going to notice a million dollars going to the wrong account
As someone who has always worked with large institutional investors..... yes, it is shockingly easy for institutions to .... misplace $1,000,000.
A long time ago, I go into the office one morning and was looking through my institutional holdings and I see like 4,000,000,000 extra Colombian pesos in the account (about 1,000,000).... and luckily though within like 20 minutes this random trader in NYC was like “oops, sorry about that send it, send it back). That I always thought was funny.
What I didn’t think was funny was one time the client and the institution were idiots and both accidentally duplicated settlement instructions.... so we sent them $2,000,000 worth of bonds by accident on coupon day, so the client got an extra $20,000 in coupon. And they sent back the 2,000,000 but refused to send the coupon back. Think the lawyers had to get involved for that. Not sure what ever happened

Racism again. If she was white, they would have let her keep it.

There was a lock keeper on the Industrial Locks named Nick Spadoni in the '80s.
Good dude.
I wouldn't have picked Kelyn as his daughter....

I wouldn't have personally fled the country for that pocket change, but it would take Ms. Spadoni 40 years to earn that much money at a dispatcher's salary, not even taking taxes and inflation into account.
She should've immediately left to a foreign country with no extradition treaty with the United States.
Yes, I am serious.
Or, she should've negotiated with Schwab for a return fee of 20 percent.

Honestly frick that. If they put money in your account they should have to count it as a loss. Their frick up.

Everyone saying flee the country, don't you need a passport? Can you get one at the airport on short notice?
