Because you'd know that women can lose all the weight, even get in better shape than before, but there's always a little more skin than there was before and the abs will never look the same because they've been stretched/separated.
My wife got back into incredible shape after our first. Better than she had ever been before. But she still had some more skin and different looking abs.
It just can't happen in the midsection without a lot of surgery.
ETA:
Kelly Ripa is on some crazy diets and is an exercise psychopath and you can still tell she's had kids - and this is an example of someone with millions of dollars that takes better care of her body than 99.999999% of the world.

It depends on your genetics. My best friend has had FOUR babies and her abs look like someone off of a photoshopped magazine cover. Yes, she eats super clean and works out religiously, but she also genetically doesn’t get stretch marks and doesn’t carry weight in her mid section. Some women probably hate her for it but her combo of excellent genetics PLUS discipline, and she honestly has better abs than she did pre baby. No messed up belly button, no weird ab separation. It is possible with hard work but you also need the good fortune of excellent genetics on your side.

This is a mom stomach. It's great, I'd love to cover it in batter, but you can tell she's had kids. It's that distinct look.

Openly admits she's had a tummy tuck surgery (I think). And she's my number one of all time. She's ageless.
Most of these celebs get that and a boob lift after kids.

Kelly Ripa is on a seriously strict diet. She would look so much better with an additional 10% body fat on that frame.
I could see the criticism of Katy Perry if this were 1.5 years after she had a baby... but not right now, that is just silly.
