People on the right aren't offended by her actually saying stuff like this like the left gets. What we're offended by is the fact that if a Republican says stuff like this, they recieve hundreds of threats and get fired... If someone on the left says it, they get cheered on and face no consequences. There's a huge difference.

I hate these stories where people try to ruin the personal lives of those who offend them. If she was a teacher or some other job and had influence over children, that's a different matter but SNL is satire that seems to preach to liberal converts for the most part. If she gets fired from SNL, should she be fired from her next gig, too? She will only be replaced at SNL with another liberal who will hide their views better.

If you want to complain to SNL, NBC, or the show's sponsors, fine but I don't know what is going to be accomplished by trying to ruin her personal life. Let the Secret Service investigate and take action.

I realize that both sides do this but I still don't like it.

Man it's crazy how a guy gains a lot of power and people all of a sudden start talking about how great he is.

I'm sure Trump is better in private because his public persona has been that of a self interested, greedy, playboy for as long as I can remember. You shouldn't take that as an insult to Trump as he has worked very hard to cultivate that image, that's his brand, it's been good business for him.

Your first link is about anonymous commentors on a web site. They are despicable for doing that. Your second link says person got fired. That's the point, when someone on the right does it, they get fired. When someone on the left does it, people think they're funny and brave.

I hate the pc culture as much as anyone, but the left made the rules to the pc culture, they should also be forced to play by them.

Many say the real Trump is genuine & nothing like his public persona.

so, by your own admission, supposing this is true, at the very LEAST, you are saying he's two faced?

we have him on tape, being recorded while he didn't think we was, saying how he can disrespect women and grab them by the pussy and it's okay, because he's a celebrity.... yeah, but that's his "public" persona, right?

c'mon man... you can think he'll do good for the economy and make america great again (as if we weren't already great, but that's another discussion), and that's totally fine with me... again, my dislike of him has very little to do with his political agenda... but as a person, he's a lot of things that i very much dislike...

I don't really give a shite but she should still be fired. It was a tasteless error in writing and her job is to write. Her bad, but she'll get over it. Or she won't, IDC.

No one on tigerdroppings would give a shite. This doesn't upset them because she's "attacking a kid", it upsets them because it's a joke at the expense of their Dear Leader Trump

Trump became a deity on this board during the election

As much as I'm sure they bitched about people worshipping Obama, they are doing the same

i'd very much argue moreso... you can dislike Obama for what he did or didn't do as president, and that's alright, but you can't fault him for him as a human being.... there are many that are knighting for Trump that had to hold their nose to vote for him, not just here but IRL too.... it's sad...

the funniest is when they try to use Trump and God/religion/etc. in the same sentence... that's comical...

It's fun to watch. He can do no wrong. Hardass Reagan types are suddenly big fans of Russia.

If Trump shite on the floor and ate it, many people would say that's what they're having for dinner.

Yes. The celebrity surrounding Trump is exactly like Obama in 08.

It's sad.
