I’m confused, not by the robbery but by your singling out of Oxford. Every hotel on the planet adjusts rates based on demand. So are you celebrating two pieces of shite robbing a business because that business follows basic principles of economics?

Gun is plastic.

Just an air soft with a painted tip.

It’s the type of weapon of choice in case they’re stopped. No weapons charges, but it works for something like this.

I will pray for you.

It's honestly not that bad. Ole Miss knows they're little brother, so most people keep their mouths shut. Just point in any direction and say "scoreboard"

No, Baw. They gouge while celebrating cold chicken fingers. That is an affront to people that eat real tailgate food.

RPG tell me about your mayor — I personally hate her mask policy. And how is it there? We’re still waiting to be able to get my kids things from the dorm.

Traffic is increasing... and some of the boutiques and retail places are opening up... but the restaurants for dine in are still closed only doing takeout/curbside.... pools are closed ...

Obviously the students are the lifeblood and they haven’t come back yet so it just feels so weird without them.

Tell me about your mayor ...I dislike the mask policy. We’re still waiting to hear from OM to get our kids things from the dorm. I’m getting a wee frustrated as other colleges have been allowing this to happen on staggered schedules.

The “masks/equivalent to enter a business or get denied entry”went into effect starting last week I believe..

However in Oxford we had The more strict shelter in place /stay at home order for a month before the Governors office mandated it... so she was hyper progressive when nobody else really in Ms was except for a couple other towns

It's fine here. We started opening things back up last week. I am not a mask guy and only have worn it once to get into Kroger. As far as UM I thought they had a week last month where people were able to get belongings?

Rate her overall job for me. My town and our state have no mandatory mask orders and I personally am in the “disagree with them being mandatory” group — some businesses have required them and I support that as they can run it their way — I just wont go to them. Except when I return to work as it’s work with a mask or quit (nursing home although we’re now nearly at a 100% positive infection rate and hadn’t had an admit in more than a month).

Three days — they encouraged essentials gathering only as it was right after spring break and they were hopeful about returning to campus. I was too hopeful for her and truly regret not going.

Eh... I won’t rate it very high ...

She’s been public on podcasts here that her goal essentially is that we must sacrifice some now and do without the square and partying and all that, so we can ensure we have football in the fall.....

Even with the data out there, she’s enacted the mask in public laws.. which I’m not a fan of.. if you want to wear a mask, go right ahead... don’t require me too...

Aren’t you a pharmacist? I keep saying we can’t run or hide from this — it was bad in the facility where I work but it’s time to open this shite. My girl misses OM something awful.

I am.. and I agree it’s time to open this shite up. If you’re immunocompromised/ other high risk categories, stay the frick at home .

But let’s get this local economy going ( open the gyms up too for fricks sake) ..... the small business are struggling / some restaurants outright closed and emptied out already.

Last I checked Lafayette county had 8 Covid deaths I believe... I need to check the stats of how many influenza deaths the county had in the 2019-2020 flu season .... she’s ( the mayor) been silent on that front
