Even if he wasn't special needs, I don't understand what he did wrong. He set the expectation that he was taking out trash and it would take 30 minutes. He ended up pausing that to take her order anyway. So she got what she wanted, and she voiced her complaint to the manager. What else does she want? A public execution of the employee? A hand-written apology note? Free apple pie?

Not only that, but listening to the dude speak he is very clearly special needs. And SN people like him are usually brutally honest because they lack certain filters. So him telling her that he was doing the trash and that takes a while so it would be quicker for her to use the kiosk was him actually just being honest with her and trying to help her. But of course she takes it as him being a rude a-hole who doesn't want to stop what he's doing and wait on her.
People like her make no logical sense to me. Imagine wanting fricking McDonalds bad enough to go through all of that, and then call a mentally handicapped dude a piece of shite on your way out.

Why do people film themselves or other people at fast food restaurants?
I have a policy of avoiding low IQ people so I don't go to places that have low IQ people like fast food restaurants, public transit, etc and it seems to work because I have never been in a situation like this.

i've had some truly shitty experiences at fast food places... but never, in my entire 43 years on earth, have i ever felt so entitled to denigrate and insult the staff, no matter how bad the service was, if the order was wrong, etc... b/c at the end of the day, in the grand scheme of life, a messed up order at a fast food joint is so fricking insignificant, that it should never arise to the level of where you are acting out and berating and insulting other human beings over shitty food...

I wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt but after watching the video, it's pretty clear that guy has a disability. The fact that she's a teacher's aid who probably deals with kids like that on a daily basis tells me she should have at least picked up on that.

It’s a McDonalds. They don’t even interact with customers anymore. Just take whatever trash food they put in the bag and be happy you got anything.
