Do they need to come to a unanimous decision?
Judge said it has to be unanimous 12-0.

Look into the Sandra Birchmore case
Attorney General has taken over Sandra’s case and Stoughton Police Chief issued a scathing statement that says those responsible for Sandra’s death will be brought to justice.

It's the least they can do. It seems the police officers started raping her at 13 & murdered her to cover it up.
They have proof of the sexual assaults & still nobody arrested.

Hopefully a smart technician took some fetus DNA from her prior to her burial/cremation

The jury had a question for the judge today. They asked if they could wrap up deliberations by 4 today because someone had a long standing appointment.
They actually think they won’t reach a verdict today? Hopefully that’s just a precautionary question.

Jackson complained this morning about the lesser charges not having a not-guilty box, which I think is fair. Judge Bev dismissed this complaint and said it's done like that all the time even though the form is inconsistent from the main to lesser. She catches Karen smiling and says, "So you think this is funny Ms. Read?"
What a fricking horrible judge and human being. Of all the players in this shite-show, she's the one I want to see go down the most.

I have never been so emotionally invested in a case that I have zero connections to. The levels of corruption are deep and also just knowing the stress Karen must have been feeling for these couple of years. The public confrontation with Turtleboy a few days ago, Brian Albert staring down Karen yesterday in court and now the incident with the verdict form this morning, I feel like Canton must be a sister-city with Pyongyang.

No verdict today. Would love to be a fly on those walls to see what the discussion is!

I haven't followed this very closely, but I just saw that the jury sent a note that they could not come to a unanimous verdict after exhaustively reviewing everything. Judge sent them back to deliberate more.

If it's a mistrial I'd be interested to know the split. Surely with what's come out they don't retry the case unless it's 11-1 or 10-2 to convict.

How could all 12 people not agree on a Not Guilty verdict? There’s more reasonable doubt in the states case than there is reasonable belief.

I am with you, but because my feed is dominated by this trial, I run into the odd person who believes guilt. They cite the 24 mph backup, the hair/DNA on the rear of her car, and the "confession".

Looks like they went home for the weekend and will return on Monday.

Are those people unable to see a single lie in the prosecution’s case and, if not, how can they not doubt everything else?

The prosecution messed their case up by not just going for the manslaughter charge. That’s the Occam’s razor of the situation, but instead they went for some nonsense story about her doing it intentionally.

It has to be one or two of the jurors that is holding out. I’m sorry but the fed experts proved she did not hit JO with her SUV.

and the "confession"
I always took that as a My Cousin Vinny type confession. She's obviously distraught. Even if JO had bruising consistent w/ being hit by a 3 1/2 ton vehicle, and it was obvious he was hit, she clearly didn't do it on purpose. Which makes the biggest charge a clear reach.
Of course all of this is for nothing, since he wasn't struck by a vehicle.
