Good luck on the new house with chip weimar in charge of the KE housing corporation, guy is a complete joke. Hopefully there are others looking over his shoulder. On a positive note the new house will be a nice addition to campus based on the renderings I have seen.

I was working for a catering company and delivered and sold beer to a Halloween party at that house in 2008. The Yin Yang Twins were performing there and I had no idea who they were, although I did walk up on them smoking weed outside right before the show.

The house was pretty much a shithole then, but then again most of the other houses I went in were too. I can only imagine what it looks like now.

It's going be pretty awesome to have a brand new house for them I'm sure. But it's crazy to think they are spending 6MM on a house that is going to be destroyed after it's first football season . I've literally woken up to a guy throwing a bowling ball completely through an interior wall and many other ridiculous things because drunk college kids DGAF.

How long until they get kicked off campus and that house becomes the best dorm ever?

Think they're having a little trouble raising the last bit of funds needed to begin construction last I heard. Pretty ambitious, but they'll get it done.

LSU's Acacia fraternity booted from campus following university hazing probe

quote:

The Acacia Fraternity national office released a statement Thursday announcing the closure of the University chapter after reported violations of the fraternity’s standards and policies related to the treatment of its members.

The chapter’s campus registration has been revoked, effective immediately` and continuing through June 30, 2018, according to a statement from assistant vice chancellor of communications Kristine Calongne Sanders. University officials’ decision came after hazing allegations surfaced during fall 2014.

I don't believe you.

I lived in a fraternity house for 3 years. I don't think it could get much worse than where I lived (at least for what over-privileged, upper-middle class, preppy, white guys). I saw some disgusting shite. I pretty much exclusively used the restroom at the Catholic center .

It wasn't pretty as far as cleanliness, but we had AC, running water, and plumbing. I think you don't realize how bad some people are willing to live.

They are going to regret that balcony on the front. Nothing good will come from it.

Spent two semesters in that house when it was a dorm. Was very nice after moving out of un-heated and un-Airconditioned Johnston Hall.

My thoughts as well, about the balcony.

On another note, can't we just call their new house "the lambda chi annex."
