I like how you imply a $3-$5 tip on a $22 bill is somehow bad.

Glad I’m not the only one who thought this...

No need. He will be an old grey haired guy who always wears something to show he was military and served in 'Nam. She will be the one with the look in her eyes that says "I am praying for the sweet release of death" because her husband insists on the same shitty restaurant as their only meal of the day

Lol

Our former copier repair man once told me that he and his wife would eat at Cracker Barrel 6 nights a week for dinner.

So they have coffee and rolls for breakfast. Pretty smart. 2 meals for the price of one. Probably eating peanuts for lunch!

I can tell you that those people probably left a $3-$5 tip and demanded extra ranch, bread, and honey cinnamon butter.

Something tells me that after 15 years, the couple doesn’t have many random or unexpected requests while dining

I’m going to be honest. That’s the first table I’m looking for at a restaurant. I hate having my back to the door.

Its not about ability to leave more. Its about using common sense

What does tipping a % of the bill have to do with common sense?? Service is service good or bad regardless of the amount of the bill.

I don’t understand the media’s obsession of people’s life choices.

The earlier this year they run a story about a man who wants to retire to the comfy confines of a Holiday Inn or other motel to spend the last years of his life.

Now this, about a couple who love to eat out every day in exchange of cooking.

I guess the media is just looking for any story that could just go viral instead of just covering something of substance.

If their claim is legit, they’ve spent $102,960 at Texas Roadhouse.

Eating there about once a month is plenty for me.

On top of just being a hunk of meat on a plate what grown man cuts his steak up into little cubes before starting to eat when he isn't feeding a 4yo? Even worse I have this image of her cutting it for him.

You say that but after bologna on white bread for the 74th day in a row you might feel otherwise, then again the 75th day is your birthday so she splurges on dijon instead of classic French's.
