‘Let’s see that store sign in sheet. Hmm, looks like Mike Hunt has been exposed to Coronavirus.”

So let's say in a day I go to church, the grocery store, the gas station, to my barber and out to eat lunch and dinner. How the fricking hell are they going to trace my COVID-19 to any single location? The grocery store and gas station won't have any record of who was in there anyway. So what good is this going to do? I seriously do not understand the logic with some of these measures. Do we really have people this stupid making public policy?

So everyone will be passing around covid-19 due to sharing of the same pen on the sign in sheet.

Any establishment where a customer will stay for more 10 minutes must keep track of everyone who has been there. For example, barber shops, churches and restaurants should have people sign a sheet with all of their contact information to allow contact tracing if there were an outbreak.

I was in Home Depot yesterday for more than 10 minutes, someone else may have been in there for 2 minutes. Would establishments like that have to have a sign in sheet? Kroger? Costco? All places you would spend more than 10 minutes, and all places seem like it would be a nightmare to keep up with that

Supposedly the phone data that they are using isn't tied to identifying information.

You know how Nazis figured out who the Jewish people were in the towns they invaded? They went to the synagogues where the rabbi kept a logbook of members. "Oh look here Herr Franz, it says Chaim Goldstein lives at 553 Elm St., let's go!"
