Such a sensational headline. He signed the pre-nup a month before the wedding and didn't contest its validity during the divorce settlement. There's no indication the "gift certificates" are anything other than the attorney drafting the settlement being thorough.

She was a child actor on a show with John Ritter (RIP). She already had made some good money.

I'm no attorney, but I was under the impression that a prenup was designed to protect assets accumulated before the marriage, not assets that were accumulated once you were married. Perhaps this is the prenup of all prenups, but it seems like the $72 million coming her way would be tough to keep if it was earned once they were married.

Not even close she was married for a year and 9 months before they agreed to divorce.

She has done BBT since 07.

Generally speaking but they can say whatever the two parties agreed to. Plus, her contract may have been signed before marriage so that would make that income easier to protect I would think.

People get outrages over CEO's making 10mil a year but where's the outrage over an actress making more per episode than most people make in their lives?

Oh, and I wonder how much her male counterparts on the show are making compared to her? gender inequality anyone?

different worlds.. They are not even at the top of the entertainment totem pole. People get mad at CEOs that make that kind of scratch and then lay off thousands and take a vacation on their super yacht. Actors, sports figures, they are employees.
