Keep hearing rumblings from different cities and sectors. Any baws with more intimate knowledge please chime in. If you thought Ochsner was a little into diversity and equity just wait until these socialists come to town. It does look like they are expanding nationally and into the South.

My wife worked for them on the M&A side of the business up until a few weeks ago and she said she knows nothing about it.

Ochsner could really use a change in leadership. That place is being run into the ground.

Warner Thomas was there for 28 years and was CEO for last ten. Left in 2022. They have new leadership. Just curious about why possibly being acquired.

Never a fan of Warner. He mixed in too much personal political ideology at the end during his Zoom addresses. No place for that. Not everyone thinks that way.

This sounds like exactly what is needed! A tax-paying system taking over a money grubbing non-tax paying entity! The local governments should celebrate with the property taxes they will receive that the "non-profits" (what a joke) doesn't have to pay.

Would make sense. They seem to have similar corporate cultures and philosophies.

Not even that. Just far far left vibes. Personally I don’t care about ones ideology but espousing it on Zoom just rubbed me the wrong way. We’re there to provide healthcare. Keep it in that lane. That’s all. He can go soapbox on a message board or the Thanksgiving table.
