Stay off the streets. Reinforcements arriving throughout the night. May be a dozen o so by morning.

I hope they try to do something during the storms and possible tornados tomorrow.

Not really. Most are just watching to be aware if it gets bad out there.

It appears like the local people are the only ones out there. Not very many it seems. If that continues we will be ok.

Black Panthers, BLM, etc. could be a game changer so we stay alert.

Apparently there was a Cajun counter protest militia call to arms thread that will fetch a few more comrades for you

I mean it's Baton Rouge we're talking about. If half the city gets destroyed the riots will have done millions of dollars worth of improvements.

Authorities are investigating after one person was reportedly shot and then brought to the Baton Rouge Police Department Tuesday. The incident was reported around 8:40 p.m.. Sources say one victim was dropped off at the police department on Plank Road after sustaining a gunshot wound at a different location.
Specifics about the victim's condition are not known at this time. This is a developing story. We will update it with more information as it becomes available.

More likely someone pissed Popeyes was out of spicy chicken then Sterling related at this point.

Would this be a misdemeanor summons for fireworks in the city limits, or would this go straight to inciting a riot?

Asking for a friend.

Weather could be why they waited.

If WaPo news is causing them to make an announcement they could plan for timing with bad weather. Nothing chills a riot like a bad storm.

Then we'll have to get through Thur. night...
