This is the OT. Isis could kill a cop and they'd celebrate.

This, and the cop haters on the poli board have become insufferable.

The most dangerous scenario at my time at lsu was the possibility of being hit by a motorcycle cop. They are extremely unsafe people with a badge and heavy machinery.

I have been in your shoes with my boys. It feels like slow motion almost and surreal to watch. We saw a soldier on a MC get run over by a truck that was crashed into by a car involved in a high speed chase.

The truck hit the soldier off of his bike and then ran over him while he was trying to get to his feet. My son in the front passenger seat was devastated.

Can't believe he lived, I saw the aftermath of the scene.

Also saw a car fully engulfed in flames on I-10 on the way home last night somewhere between Gonzales and LaPlace.

We watched a bike cop come within inches of hitting a child earlier this year during game day. Dude was flying around like a douche bag and didn't see the kid.

I'm just saying something like this was bound to happen with the way those guys drive.

So because you saw one drive recklessly, you assume they all deserve it?

What are your assumptions when a cop kills someone?

I hate to see anyone get hurt like this, but some are more upset when it is a cop that is hurt or killed. Why are they more valuable than others?

Bad wreck at the top of the new bridge too.
We were heading west after the game and saw a disabled vehicle on the down side of eastbound. No lights and smoking. I ran over a piece of wreckage that made it over to my side. No idea how it ended up that way, but it was another wreck waiting to happen.

No. Because I've seen them all drive recklessly, I'm not surprised that something like this would happen.

TBH, I'd rather the reckless cop get hit than for the cop to hit a by-standing civilian.

Have you seen these guys drive? It's unsafe. Hopefully this will be a wakeup call, but I doubt it. There's too much empowerment to be had.

I agree bike cops are reckless at times, but in this instance the bike cop was stopped and waiting for the rest of his convoy to catch up

And some are happy when a cop is killed. I didn't see where he implied that a cops life is more valuable thn anyone else's life. I think there would a rurally be more outrage on this board if a civilian were run over by an suv.

Cops are no better or worse drivers than the general population.

Lauding a man's injury is ridiculous. He was just victimized by another piss poor Louisana driver, of which there are literally thousands.

You clearly know nothing about LSU's motorcycle cops. These people are dangerous.

was the person who ran over the cop also a cop? Because that's the only way this story would stay buried like this. If Joe Blow hit a cop on a bike and almost killed him it would make the news. The person in the SUV has to be a VIP or a cop himself for this to be so secret. And "Slinky's" response kind of confirm that suspicion.
