Wait till those people get the Virus all bunched up with no social distancing. 150 new cases to add to the list of New Orleans citizens with the virus. These will be the ones that get on vents and never come off. They will be detoxing on top of have co-Vid19. Fun Times

I believe Hilton is about to go belly up and they're trying to save themselves by taking in government money.

As callous as this sounds, if their little experiment ends up with a bunch of COVID-19 infected bums that take up very limited ventilators, Latoya's tax bill should look minuscule compared to the massive lawsuits filed against her.

So many questions:

Are they going to be locked in? Or will they be able to go out and buy their drugs and come back?

Who will protect the maids and other employees?

You really think the maids are going room to room alone with an asylum full of mentally ill homeless people?

Who will take care of security?

Will they have their own rooms? How will they choose roommates?

What about medical care?

Is this the worst idea I've ever heard of? Yes it is.

That place will be a disease ridden petri dish, and not just from Covid-19. There will be rapes, murders and assaults.

Aren't they safer outside? Give them some blankets, cans of tuna and some water. Better yet, Austin wants them - Use the parked School Buses and ship them over.

I have a nephew that manages a hotel in the quarter and he told the city to F-off when they asked him about housing the homeless in his hotel. The Garden Inn will never rent a room again.

There have already been a number of people commenting that they are going in and out the hotel like it is no big deal.

Hard to believe this segment of the population is having a hard time adjusting to social courtesies.

On a positive note it looked like Public Works was doing a sweep under the overpasses while the tent cities were vacated.
