Not a lot if people know this but Sir Edmund Hilary wanted to take on Driskill but Tenzeng Norgay said he wasn’t going to that place more dangerous than that last hill!

The fire tower in Hilly was a good climb during my Louisiana Tech days, Many moons ago.

I hope you really made a day of it and visited the Bonnie and Clyde Monument and climbed the Sailes fire tower as well. Is that fire tower still there?

Worst thing about Driskill Mountain is that it's in Bienville Parish.
