There is no measurable association between obesity and physical activity. I’m not saying exercise is not good for you. It just doesn’t work that well for weight loss.
lmao. dude. give me a damn break

I put on a few lbs during the Rona. Currently working to remove them. Sitting around eating more and regular beers at 2pm was definitely the culprit

Men have like 4-5 years to lose “sympathy weight” right?

A fat guy losing 16 pounds in 3 weeks means you took a few really big shits.

I'm very serious but I wasn't riding centuries per se; just riding with the Harpeth bike club and me and few of the frisky racer guys would do some sprints and of course there are hills everywhere here.
I would eat 3 or 4 eggs before the ride; I was referring to post ride I starved myself.
I should also point out that was my mileage at the end of the ride but we stopped plenty of times too.
I didn't mean to imply I never got out of the saddle the entire 100 miles.
It's not that big a feat. My favorite rider was nearly 70 and he rode further than I did. He wouldn't show up if he didn't get at least 100 miles in on weekend rides.

I seldom drink sodas or beer but I’m not cutting bourbon

I just put some bacon wrapped pork loins with jalapeño cheese on the grill. I guess that’s keto but since I’m not following the diet my belly is going the other way.
Seriously though, congrats on your weight loss.

Congrats. Takes discipline and the reward is well worth it. Read Atomic Habits over the weekend and working on some changes myself. Pretty active but I’m going to commit to less TV. Keep up the good work.

That’s great, stay off the sugar train, don’t backslide or the weight will come back fast.

I lost 16 lbs in 14 days because I had pancreatis. In March of 2000, I had pancreatis so bad I was admitted to OLOL ICU. Nothing to eat or drink for 25 days. I went from 225lbs down to 182lbs. Almost died.

Don't need to read it if that's what it says.
It's wrong.
Caloric in/out is everything.

Congrats, for me, it wasnt a diet, it was a lifestyle change that mostly involved alot less soda, and More water. Also avoid most sugary things
