The better we are now at staying apart, the sooner we will be able to come back together.

Good catch.

If I'm reading this right, you can only go for a run on the beach.

But, you can go to the outdoor gym at 50% capacity.

I'm so confused.

I read government regulations everyday. Being confused after reading them is the norm.

They specifically write them that way to leave room for "interpretations"

Just seems like the whole order is unenforceable due to the way it is written.

I guess L.A. residents shouldn't have to pay taxes during this time as roads/busses/schools/etc. won't be used when everyone's stuck at home.

Can we all please start publicly gaslighting the coronavirus scaredy cats? It's been the same script for 9 months now.

So churches aren’t to open their doors, but what about the mosques? Notice how we only see Methodist, Baptist, Catholic, and Jewish churches getting bad press or fined.

From your link:
quote:

Subject only to the exceptions outlined in this Order, all persons living within the City of Los Angeles are hereby ordered to remain in their homes.

Residents of the City of Los Angeles who are experiencing homelessness are exempt from this requirement.

Nothing really changed. Garcetti put this order out there for the shock value and hopes people see "stay at home", are too stupid to read the exceptions that change nothing from what is in place now, and end up hunkering down. Based off the replies in this thread, I think it will work
