7th, were you the one that posted a pic in a ski mask and highlighted how chapped your lips were? I remember dying at that thread

I was actually wondering what happened to you the other day.
We have basically nothing in common.
I'm not certain I have ever directly interacted with you in a thread.
I always read your posts and thought, "Man. This guy is going to end up in the right place, and good things will come his way one of these days."
I'm glad that is happening.
Congratulations, person who is both a stranger and, in a weird way, a family member of what is the very dysfunctional OT Family.

It’s extremely strange how that works huh? I’m definitely grateful for having joined TD 11 years ago.

About two weeks after I moved into my first home, I remember thinking "how did I deal with apartments for so long??"

I also remember the sinking feeling I got the first time I ever checked to see if my gutters were dirty.

Well when are you having us all over.
Moving day does not count!!!

I believe you were thinking it would be cool to invite all my internet friends over.

We are waiting for the invite.

Seems kind of rude not to have a BBQ,

Your seller is getting in those last minute capital gains before Biden puts them through the roof. Smart move.

Make sure you hold on to it for the next 4 years if you want to avoid them as well.

Welcome to the world of fixing shite non stop, fighting weeds like they are endangering your life and they finding out that new houses with the accompanying financial interests of local banks and real estate brokers are FAR easier to sell than it is to resell and existing home. I hate owning real estate. It is the bane of mankind. Only thing worse is renting.....

I bought my first house at 20 on the court house steps as they say. We have been fortunate in that we usually own houses in military towns and they tend to always be short on housing and there is always folks moving in and out. We have managed to sell all of them for me than we gave for them but when you look at the interest you have paid on mortgages and the maintenance they are a HORRIBLE idea.

Owned at least one house for the last 35 years. I own so many fricking gas cans itd take a big uhaul to take them all to the dump. Who needs so many damned gas cans? It is like a historical time line of gas cans in my shop. From the mid 80's steel to the current plastic models with that damned safety cap that only makes it safe if you goal is to pout 5 gallons on the side of your lawn mower and raise your blood pressure while teaching the Mormon kids next door a whole new language....

Sprayers also. Jumping Christ in a handbasket at the pump up sprayers. We need another 2000 square feet to store all of the shite we have moved around the world.

Christmas decorations? Forget about it. Walmart aint got shite on us. I made a mistake early on and the wife and I bought some shite on clearance one year after Christmas and apparently she took this as a sign that were going to do it for 30 years straight. I bet there is enough scrap copper in those damn lights to make a mortgage payment with.
