Picked up my carry out special pizza from dominos the other day. Actually had a nice conversation with the cashier that she initiated. I was highly surprised. Plus one of the line cooks made a point of saying "welcome to dominos" and "have a nice day" to me. Renewed my faith in humanity

On the opposite end of the spectrum, my odd experience recently had a 35ish y/o stock boy at Kroger approach me while I was holding my 2 year old. He tells me in his thickest, gumpiest Georgia accent, "thas a bee-you-tee-full baybee." Made me want to get the frick out of there with the quickness lest my baby get kidnapped.
In his defense, she is a beautiful baby. I hear that literally every time I take her somewhere, often multiple times in a single store, but this dude was creepy.
