Just had an odd Experience at McDonald's on Air Base Rd. in Alexandria

The girl in the pay booth asked how I was doing and actually waited for a response, didn't look at me with disdain. Then the guy at the food line did the same thing. He also put extra napkins in the bag and asked if I would like any ketchup with my fries. Then told me to have a good night and safe travels.

I know a guy from BR who visited Northern Michigan and every fast food place he went into was staffed by polite white people. He's still recovering from the shock.

I had weird experience at McD's today as well. Young high school girl handed me my food and just stared at me and smiled. I wasn't sure if she was kind of slow, or if she poisoned my food.

I had the exact opposite experience at the Erwinville McDonald's on a couple occasions.

I actually had a similar experience in that area a few months back...stopped in at some little gas station-type chicken place and the lady working there was so nice that I decided to dine in just to stay around and chat for a while....kinda like my grandmother....
