2001 was my senior year of HS.

Now to 2001 doesn’t seem like the same huge culture gap as 1993 to 1976

They already made the movie in 1998. It was called Can't Hardly Wait. It's basically a late 90s time capsule.

And it sucks arse.

The OP is a tired trope.

There is literally nothing mindblowing about you feeling old.

Haha, you just don't get it. It has nothing to do with feeling old. Now go annoy someone else.

I've always had a problem with the term "millenials" but the truth is anybody born in the last 20 years is a completely different person than those born in the 20 years before that. I was 17 in 2000 so I could have had a kid, but according to the people that define this shite I would be in the same generation as my 5 star QB son, point is there are a lot of stupid people that come up with "definitions" in this country.

Preppy southern guys will still be wearing the same thing. Expect their pants would not have pleats.

Back to the Future went back 30 years from 1985 to 1955.
We moved past 30 later than the 1985 date in the movie a few years ago.

I think he was saying a movie about high schoolers in 2001 would suck compared to Dazed and Confused. At least that’s what I hope he meant.

What does that have to do with anything?

It’s the OT.
All our kids are blue chippers and we would have been if we hadn’t blown out our knee in the Dome.

On the comedic side you could throw in American Pie for an awful representation of teen love in that era.

It even has a younger man/older woman story line.
