$6K a year is frigging ridiculous.
Wait until you finally need to utilize the service you've been paying for and the company tries to get out of providing the paid-for services they agreed to.

Mine went up $300+ per year which is an increase of 13%.

I haven’t had home insurance in almost 8 years. I got tired of writing people checks for nothing in return.
Yep, BT is right up there in the stupid post category.

Yes, pricing on Homeowners has dropped but car insurance has risen seemingly.

You are Correct. Not many billboards at all

This is not the reason. AZ has less storms, floods, higher incomes with better credit scores and less catastrophic events in general.

Mine went up 2k so I switched to USAA and dropped it to about 300 less than I was paying before the 2k bump.

Mine went up $400. I consider that a win. Two years ago it went from $1,300 to $3,800. No claims

Ain’t it funny how after zero named storms in the gulf this year, our rates didn’t go down?

How much of that can you access right now if you absolutely needed to?
That's what determines how much you're really worth.

I can access 6.5 million in a few days - who really cares? It’s all I got less real estate
This isn’t a pissing contest.

I don't really care, but he brought it up as some kind of flex.

My homeowners premium is within $110 of what it was three years ago. I’m incredibly happy with USAA.
