Just got a weird text message.

Just got a text from a 332 area code (Manhattan) asking, “Is this J******?”
It was my name, spelled correctly, which isn’t a common name and there are several different spellings of it.
I just hit report junk and delete. Is this some kind of identity theft attempt?
Never had them spell my name correctly.
