I have a half baked theory that a lot of this is actually caused by office jobs
I know everyone here is an extremely skilled tax accountant of lawyer or whatever that could get a new, better job immediately, but the reality is those jobs are fake and everyone knows their little niche could be toast and they'd have to start over... and that is a tough pill to swallow if you have dependents.

Keep the sabbath.
Truly. End your week when the sun goes down Friday. Do not work, drive, touch a phone, watch tv, etc until Saturday. Even if you aren’t religious, nothing will liberate you more than this simple act, and bring order to your life.
You will adjust your schedule. You will let go of some things. You will find communion and joy and order and faith.

I graduated in 2015 in the Baton Rouge area. I have had 10 people that I went to high school with that have died from suicide, or Fentanyl.
